Abstract Lattes
She holds a graduate degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agronomy (1983), a masters degree in Agriculture (1989) and a PhD in Plant Ecophysiology from the University of Belgrade (1995). She made a postdoctoral work in France, INRA, in the period 1997-2000, in plant architecture modeling and radiation distribution in the plant canopy. She worked as a professor at the Department of Plant Production at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agriculture (1984-1998), as a temporary researcher at INRA (France), as a visiting professor at UFPR (2000-2001), as a visiting researcher at Embrapa Florestas (Colombo, PR) and at Embrapa Informática Agropecuária (Campinas, SP) in the period 2001-2008. She carried out research at the Agronomic Institute of Paraná-IAPAR (Londrina, PR) in the period 2008-2014 and as a fellow at Fundação Araucária and Consórcio Pesquisa Café (project leader). In the period 2015-2019 she acted as leader of the Coffee Research Consortium project at Embrapa Meio Ambiente and Embrapa Informática Agropecuária (Campinas-SP). During 2020-2021, she worked as Visiting Researcher (PV) of CNPq at UENF, Campos dos Goytacazes-RJ and from December 2021 to February 2023 as PV of CNPq at Embrapa Florestas, Colombo-PR, From March 2023 to September 2024 she acted as PV at UFES, São Mateus-ES. She is currently a PV at UENF in Campos dos Goytacazes-RJ with fellowship of FAPERJ. She published multiple articles in specialized national and international journals, book chapters and works in annals of events. Miroslava participated in various international events representing Brazil. She is participating as associated editor in four international journals, and make considerable number of revisions, more than 100 every year. Her main experience is Agronomy, with an emphasis on Ecophysiology and Agrometeorology, working mainly on the following topics: photosynthesis, morphogenesis, coffee, yerba mate, modeling of light interception and 3D plant architecture.
