Motor Control l EMGThe research interests are focused on various aspects of neuroscience, including neuroengineering, neurophysiology, and neurorehabilitation. Projects are conducted with the primary goal of gaining a deeper understanding of the neurophysiological factors associated with motor control, encompassing the study of Motor Units and Muscle Synergies. Additionally, advanced techniques such as High-Density Electromyography, Stochastic Resonance, and Brain-Computer Interface are employed to enhance comprehension of human motor control and improve human motor capabilities, particularly in the context of neurorehabilitation for various motor disorders.
Interdisciplinary research collaborations are conducted in partnership with renowned researchers from internationally prestigious institutions such as Imperial College London, the University of Colorado, the Università degli Studi di Brescia, the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Arizona State University, and the University of Nantes.
