I received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Campus of Ilha Solteira, Brazil, in 2012, 2014, and 2018 respectively, with fellowships granted by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). During this period, I completed two research internships (in 2014 and 2016) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Behzad Kordi at the University of Manitoba (UofM) in Canada, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with fellowships granted by the Research Internships Abroad Program (BEPE/FAPESP). I worked as a postdoctoral researcher and research collaborator at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) in the High Voltage Laboratory from 2019 to 2023, with a fellowship granted by FAPESP. Currently, I am a research associate at the High Voltage Lab at Cardiff University, Cardiff, United Kingdom.My research is related to the full-wave electromagnetic modeling of transmission lines, cables, grounding systems, lightning performance, and numerical methods for computing electromagnetic transients in electrical power systems under disturbances and renewable energies.
