Throughout my academic life, my research interests have been focused on understanding the relationship between Science, Technology, the Environment and Socioeconomic Transformations. Currently, my research interests are rather concentrated in the Political Economy of Commons and Sustainability, with projects and supervisions at undergraduate and graduate levels in progress in two major themes. On the one hand, there are projects with focus on technological development and issues of responsibilities, rights and equity in climate governance and, on the other hand, projects whose focus is to examine issues related to sustainable development in the mining sector.
