Associate Professor at University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Bachelor in Economics from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Master and PhD in Economics from UNICAMP. He was coordinator of the Center for Industrial Economics and Technology (NEIT) at UNICAMP (2009 to 2011), Deputy Executive Secretary of the Brazilian National Association of Graduate Studies in Economics (ANPEC, 2012-2013) and General Coordinator of Graduate Studies at the Institute of Economics at UNICAMP (2016-2019) and Organizer of the II Meeting of the Brazilian Network for China Studies (RBChina, 2019). He is currently Associate Director of the Institute of Economics at UNICAMP, Coordinator of the Brazil-China Study Group at UNICAMP and researcher at the Center for Industrial Economics and Technology. His teaching and research themes involve International Economy, Economic Development, International Trade and Investment, Transnational Corporations, Brazilian Industrial and Technological Development, and Brazil-China Relations. He has several books, book chapters and papers in national and international journals published on his research topics.
