System Identification and Time Series Realization
Dr. Mateus research interests include system identification, time series realization, fault analysis and electric machines, as detailed below:
• System identification: state space system identification, subspace methods for system identification, and computational intelligence applied to system identification;
• Time series realization: state space models for time series realization, computational intelligence applied to time series realization, and applications of time series realization algorithms;
• Fault analysis: parametric methods for fault analysis, operational modal analysis, and computational intelligence for fault classification;
• Electric machines: electric machines modelling, fault analysis applied to electric mach
