Professor Associado II, Livre-Docente, na área de Administração Pública da Faculdade de Ciências Aplicadas - Unicamp. Coordenador do curso de graduação em Administração Pública da FCA - Unicamp (2016-2019). Coordenador do Mestrado Interdisciplinar em Ciências Humanas e Sociais Aplicadas - ICHSA (2023-2026). Membro do Laboratório de Estudos do Setor Público - LESP. Pós-doutor pela Columbia University (The Institute of Latin American Studies - ILAS). Doutor em Administração Pública e Governo (EAESP-FGV), Mestre em Educação (FEUSP), Bacharel e Licenciado em História (FFLCH-USP).

He has been dedicating himself to research on various topics with interdisciplinary approaches. One of these focuses on analyzing the phenomenon of the social construction of markets and the issue of development in the fight against poverty in the context of the semiarid region and family farming. The research is funded by the CNPq in force until 2024. Another aspect is concerned with the issue of transparency, social participation, accountability and new information and communication technologies. In this last line, the professor has been coordinating for 8 years the Thematic Seminar "Government-Society Relationship: Transparency, Accountability and Participation", within the scope of SemeAD - Administration Seminars (FEA - USP). In addition to these, the main topics of interest in research are: public policies; public administration; development; bureaucracy; wicked problems.
