Discourse Analysis, Psychoanalysis, History of Linguistic IdeasGraduated in Languages at FAFIG (1995), with a Master’s degree (1999) and a PhD (2005) in Linguistics from UNICAMP. Currently Associate-Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the Institute of Language Studies (IEL/UNICAMP). His research focuses on Linguistics, with an emphasis on Discourse Analysis, exploring its intersections with historical materialism and psychoanalysis, particularly in the study of the relations between language, the unconscious, and subjectivity.
He is a founding member of the PoEHMaS Research Center (Politics, Enunciation, History, Materialities, Sexualities), leader of the PsiPoliS Research Group (Psychoanalysis, Politics, Signifier), and a researcher in the Women in Discourse Research Group (MulherDis). He is also a founding member of the Collective Estação Psicanálise, which provides free psychoanalytic services at Estação Cultura, in Campinas. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Forum of the Lacanian Field – Metropolitan Region of Campinas (FCL-RMC).
