ROGERIO APARECIDO BATAGLIOLI

My research centers on using polymers and synthetic biology tools to create biomaterials. My scientific background includes a bachelors degree and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas, with a focus on multilayer films and high-throughput methods to accelerate the design and production of recombinant protein materials. During my postdoctoral appointment at Virginia Tech, I focused on creating methods to understand the role of phages in the mammalian gut microbiome. Currently, I serve as an assistant professor at the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Campinas.
