Professora do departamento de História da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp). Possui graduação e mestrado em História pela USP e doutorado pela École des hautes études en sciences sociales (2014). Ex-aluna da École normale supérieure de Paris seção internacional (2003-2007). Professora Visitante na Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales (2025). Investiga as relações entre os indígenas americanos e o Estado construído em seus territórios originais, durante o período colonial e atualmente, enfocando especialmente a região da Amazônia brasileira. Coordenadora do Projeto: "Entre um passado profundo e um futuro iminente: impactos socioambientais do colonialismo moderno na Amazônia", com financiamento Fapesp. I delve into social relationships within colonial contexts, considering political, economic, social, and territorial dynamics created by enslavement and other forms of indigenous labor, approaching the interactions between the different groups (Indians, Africans, missionaries, colonial authorities, and settlers) involved in various contexts, while maintaining a particular focus on the Amazonian region during the colonial period. I also investigate the relationships between native peoples and the states established in their original territories from colonial times until the contemporary period. I intend to discern the actors, interests, and struggles involved in the definition of those native people’s historical rights within different contexts over this broad temporal arc in Portu
